House of Nacid

The House of Nacid is the strongest of the noble houses of Stormgaarten, and through history normally the ruling House. Due to the importance of the Keep at Stormgaarten in trade routes, the House has amassed a fortune that would make most nobility in Estmuire City blush. However, their distance from the capital has diminished their influence so that their power is mostly financial.

The garrisons outside the Keep report to the Crown of Estmuire, but they're so far away that the House of Nacid is often where their loyalties lie. As such, military power is a delicate issue where conflicts between the Keep and the Crown exist.
