Sytern

Sytern is the Lawful Evil god of law. Followers of Sytern (mostly lawyers) claim that Sytern is in no way evil, they merely stick to the letter of any agreement or stated principle. Their symbol is a white quill on a black background, with the tip stained red. There is no accepted iconography for Sytern, as they tend to appear to all in a form they simultaneously trust above all else and are intensely frightened of. (Perhaps in the form of a beloved relative, but in a decaying, dead state, for example.)

Clerics of Sytern's never lose their powers, because by the agreements of their bond, they're literally incapable of breaking the requisite pact.
